Chad A. Thistle joined Diversified Management in October 2004 to manage income tax planning and compliance. Today, he is Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Tax Strategies for the firm. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and an Enrolled Agent, the most expansive license the IRS grants a tax professional. He holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum, Inc.
Chad holds a Masters of Tax Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He has prior experience with regional investment management, banking and brokerage firms.
As an active supporter of Our Savior Lutheran Church & School, Chad serves as Chairman of the Board of Education, Treasurer and Chairman of the Budget of Finance Committee. He previously served as a financial counselor for the University of Wisconsin-Extension in Ozaukee County.
Chad and his wife, Kimberly, a certified public accountant, have been married since 2001 and live in Grafton. In his spare time, Chad enjoys golfing and attending his four children’s many sports activities.
